IYANNA HUFFINGTON WHITNEY is a multidisciplinary performing arts professional whose work lives at the intersection of artistry, administration, and storytelling. A director, vocalist, educator, and arts leader, she is passionate about creating work that is both emotionally resonant and structurally sound—bridging creative vision with strategic execution.
At Yale, where she completed her M.F.A. in Theater Management, she cultivated a strong foundation in producing, artist support, and organizational leadership. Her experience spans Off-Broadway, regional theater, and youth arts organizations, including work as the Artistic Programming Fellow at The New Victory Theater. Across these spaces, she has led artist-centered initiatives, managed complex productions, and supported the development of new work.
As a creative, Iyanna is especially drawn to stories that explore faith, resilience, and the human condition. Her background as a vocalist and worship leader deeply informs her artistic voice, grounding her work in a commitment to authenticity, spiritual inquiry, and communal experience.
At the core of Iyanna’s practice is a dedication to artist advocacy and sustainable creative ecosystems. She is committed to building spaces where artists are supported holistically and where bold, meaningful work can thrive.
